Description
Our client is looking to recruit an additional Packing Operative initially on a 1-month temporary basis.

Your role as a Packing Operative is a key function in the company, ensuring that all customer orders that require packing are packed to a high standard and degree of accuracy in line with the requirement of the business.

This is predominately a production support-based role.


To work within the Branding Unit packing garments, either flat-packed or individually packed into a plastic bag to a very high standard and degree of accuracy.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • From a purchase order, determine the content of the order, what needs to be packed, and how
  • Be able to conduct a Quality Control check on the garments and where necessary identify and report any faults found
  • To liaise and work with Team Leader and Supervisor to ensure that all garments are packed on time, ensuring that the required delivery date is achieved
  • Ensure that all productionrelated documents are stored correctly for future use
  • Taking orders from the ordering system, processing and updating spreadsheets ready for packing

  • Ability to use own initiative and prioritise own workload

  • Excellent attention to detail

Hours of work:
Monday - Wednesday 7.30 am pm, Thursday 7.30 am pm, Friday 8 am - 3 pm

**Hourly Rate: £10.42 per hour, overtime available
