BMS Service Engineer - Trend & Distech Controls

Salary/Package - £48,000 - £50,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Private Pension + Profit Share + 25 Days Holiday

Location - Bristol

Permanent Position


My client is an award winning energy management and technical services consultancy that has been established for over 30 years.


They are looking to recruit a BMS Service Engineer where you will be working on primarily Trend & Tridium systems, but other systems such as Distech Controls, Priva and Siemens will also be used by their client base.


Responsibilities Day to Day

  • Full Installation of BEMS panels in retail outlets, new builds, commercial offices and retrofits
  • Servicing/Commissioning a vast range of controls equipment including Trend, Tridium and Distech Controls
  • Testing and inspection.
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Wiring modifications, Understanding control panel logic and being able to modify schematics accordingly
  • Understanding, modifying and writing BMS software
  • Site hand overs/witness testing.
  • Creating detailed sitespecific reports.
  • Demonstrating to staff/tenants how to operate control system user interfaces
