You will assess and manage the dietetics needs of children and young people in the Cambridge and Peterborough contract.
This role will be one of the lead roles in the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in the area and is a contract commitment.
The role is hybrid and you will likely work some evenings a week when delivering on site, but you can work your hours flexibly as long as you can commit to working in the evenings.
The role is also Monday-Friday.To contribute to MDT triage, improving referral quality and optimisation of care prior to treatment.
Conduct holistic dietetic assessments and interventions to advise children and families at an individual or group level
To provide group or 1-1 interventions for children, young people and families
BSc in nutrition and dietetics and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
Experience of working with mental health/learning disability clients in healthcare setting
Experience of Working with children
Motivational interviewing skills or behaviour change skills training
detailed history taking, dietetic assessment and risk assessment
Ability to formulate a health care plan taking into consideration other elements of the multidisciplinary team
