JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for running molding machines toproduce molded parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work under general direction ofthe department supervisor and/or leader with a minimum ofsupervision following processes and procedures
• Maintain personal production andquality standards as determined by supervision.
• Operate injection molding machine
• Operate blendingmachine to be able to combine raw pellets together
• Cut off excess material with anexacto knife
• Inspectproducts for surface defects and flaws
• Position and secure threaded cores and/orovermolds into mold
• Fill machine hoppers
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Maintain area in a clean and orderlycondition

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ANDABILITIES:

• High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED); one to three years manufacturing experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
• Musthave reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.

Additional Characteristics:

• This position works as both an individualcontributor and in a team environment
• This position required the ability to lift2555 lbs. occasionally 2055 lbs frequently 1025lbs.
• This position may requirestanding and/or sitting for long periods of time up to 810 hoursper day
• Thisposition required good manually dexterity and visual acuity
• This position may beexposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
