    Job Description – Chief Financial Officer

    We produce all our drinks in-house at our Cambridge factory, after beginning life in our founder's mum's kitchen.

    We focus on sustainability; working with local farmers, turning our organic waste into Biofuels, and only using bottles made from recycled materials.

    After going through a period of rapid growth and expansion, we have opened a new factory in Corby and added in a new management structure.

    Used to working in a founder / start up environment, you are excited by the pace and momentum in this environment and are keen to accelerate growth through commercial and strategic guidance and improving operational efficiencies.

    Managing a Finance team, this role will shape and elevate our business and become an anchor for the company.

    This position will require expert reporting and candidates must be confident with PE board level interactions and negotiating with financial institutions.

    Contribute to the achievement of overall business objectives through the development and execution of the financial strategy.
    Provide strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and growth initiatives.

    Oversee all reporting processes, including managing the month end and year end process and the submission of timely financial reporting.

    Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts.
    In-depth understanding and analysis of margin, operating costs etc. to identify trends, risks and opportunities and provide data driven recommendations.
    Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports at monthly board meeting.
    Ownership of company's debt financing and debtor management.
    Negotiating loans/other facilities e.g. Responsible for planning, resource allocation, and forecasting on a long term and short-term basis.

    Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the division.

    Direct and manage the finance team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed so that they carry out their responsibilities effectively.

    Business partnering and application of financial information to all levels of management including Board of Directors / Investors.

    Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
    Minimum of six years in a senior finance role.
    Robust negotiation skills for communications with financial institutions .
    Experience of the food and drink manufacturing industry is essential to understand terms, metrics, and customers.
    Proven experience of driving a growth finance function.
    Excellent commercial and business experience.
    Accustomed to working with and interpreting data.
    We are offering a salary package commensurate to a senior finance professional.
