Are you a Finance Leader with a passion for Fintech start-ups? Our client, is seeking a Finance Director as they continue to scale their innovative Fintech product
The business is an early-stage Fintech payments company, with a mission to make seamless payments using open banking technology.

Currently seed funded, growing rapidly and in need of a talented finance leader to drive their financial and operational goals.

In this role, you'll work closely with the CEO and investors to manage the financial and operational requirements of the company.

You'll need to be a multi-tasker and have a hands-on approach to keep up with the fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You'llalso be expected to take ownership of your work and be proud of the company you're helping to build.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with investors and providing financial due diligence on future fundraises
  • Financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities
  • Managing all board reporting, monthly and annual accounts and reporting requirements, including regulatory reporting and audits
  • Dealing with all FCA reporting requirements
  • Managing cash flow and expenses, providing strategic guidance on budgeting and pricing strategy
  • Streamlining operations and internal controls
  • Identifying and solving company gaps and problems

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience running financial and commercial functions within a fintech
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
  • A proven track record of building and establishing efficient processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of banking, fintech, and/or payments
  • Handson startup/scaleup experience (Ideally from Seed/Series A stages)
