This is an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, being Monday to Friday days, no weekends, everything provided including van, fuel card, tools, and mobile phone, no roadside jobs, all onsite withcommercial customers.

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you'll be trusted with keeping some of the UK's biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting motor vehicle repairs on a range of commercial LCV's for external customers, including the inspection, diagnosis, maintenanceand repair of all types of mechanical assets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
  • Setting and operating of tools and equipment
  • Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details
  • Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills
  • Dealing directly with customers
Skills & Experience

  • You must have a level 2 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles or equivalent
  • Experience in the automotive maintenance industry
  • Proficient fault finding / diagnostic skills
  • Ideal
  • Be an experienced Vehicle Technician
  • Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing
  • Ability to plan and priorities effectively and work within tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work safely unsupervised and use own initiative
  • Willingness and ability to travel
