A unique opportunity to be the Factory Financial Controller for the flagship manufacturing site of one of the world's largest consumer goods companies, based in Kingston-Upon-Hull.

Reporting to the Supply FD based at HQ in the Southeast with a dotted line day-to-day to the Site Director, you will be a key member of the leadership team and the site finance lead, responsible for all financial aspects of their strategy through evaluatingand contributing towards site projects.

You will take responsibility for all finances related to the factory, lead and manage the finance team on the Hull site (6 x Supply Accountants and 1 x Finance Graduate on site) with full responsibility for the factory performance & controls, including financialplan and forecasts, the month end process, variance analysis and financial reviews.

Working with members of the cross functional Site Management team and UK Healthcare Leadership team to deliver the financial commitments of the factory, by influencing and challenging the activities of the site.

Analysis of the financial performance, enabling clear explanation and demonstration of target setting to the supply chain management, (European Supply FD, Site Director, UK Healthcare Leadership Team, Regional Director).

Support into future strategic decisions for the site to ensure that decisions made today do not have a negative impact in the future.

The Hull site is a mature factory, and the volume is growing; the challenge is to make the factory more efficient and potentially bigger, find out where the savings are and deliver more for less.

Requirements:

A Qualified Accountant
Postqualification experience in an FMCG or similarly highvolume manufacturing organisation
Experienceworking knowledge of key manufacturing topics
Material and manufacturing variances, fixed costs reviews etc, labour analysis
Proven experience of managing a team
