Client Details
My client is a well established business seeking to add a sales ledger clerk to their busy team


Description

  • Weekly banking
  • Ensure all sales invoicing is carried out accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with client requirements and VAT rules
  • Liaise with the logistics department and clients on a regular basis to ensure invoicing is carried out efficiently and any issues delaying invoicing are resolved promptly
  • Undertake more complex areas of work, such as consolidated invoicing and intricate external/ internal queries
  • Ensure all sales ledger transactions are posted correctly on SAGE
  • Calculate and submit weekly invoice factoring figures for the sales ledger finance facility
  • Assist credit control and deal with client queries directly
  • Process daily onsite cash takings, reconcile takings and investigate discrepancies
  • Other adhoc duties as required to ensure effectiveness within the organisation

Profile

  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Ideally be studying towards AAT
  • Ideally have own transport due to location
  • Have excellent communication skills
