VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a HSE Officer for a leading Global Manufacturing organisation.
Permanent position - Monday - Friday.

Reporting to the Production Area Manager you will assist all department managers on assigned HSE tasks with the delivery of HSE Plans.

Ensuring site Health Safety and Environmental legal compliance.
Corrective action planning
Implementation of audits to check and verify Health Safety and Environmental compliance
Carry out training and development of the Health Safety and Environmental systems
Consulting with local authorities with regards to Health Safety and Environmental issues
Coordinating with industrial hygienist and Occupational Health Practitioners
Carry out risk assessments
Managing all civil litigation cases
Management and deployment of Ergonomic - Health and Wellbeing Promotion
Risk management and GRC inspection visits
Occupational health assessments
Occupational hygienist review and implementation of corrective action requirements
A NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar.
Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
A good working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and Display Screen Equipment.
