    *UET1 - SEND lecturer/teacher*

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher/Lecturer to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of young learners. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment, foster social and emotional development, and provide educational support to children.

    *VACANCY*

    • SEND college
    • Based in KT3, new malden
    • You should hold a teaching qualification or equivalent
    • Immediate or September start - you can start via the agency to being with with a view to become permanent in September
    • Teaching students aged 18-25
    • Monday to Thursday (Friday optional)
    We require a full-time, experienced lecturer to deliver a curriculum based on the four Preparing for Adulthood pathways- Good Health, Independent Living, Employment and Friends, Relationships and the Community. A large part of learning takes place in a variety of community based settings. The lecturer will be deliver teaching and learning both in the college and community settings. Learners are working at pre-entry level, aged 16-25, knowledge of PSB and experience of behaviours of concern are essential. They will be expected to complete schemes of work, session plan, monitor progress against targets, write annual review reports attend team meetings and any other duties appropriate to the role

    *Duties and Responsibilities *

    1. Effective planning of teaching/learning within work and employment curriculum areas.
    2. Implementing appropriate assessment, objective setting, recording, reporting and evaluation of educational work programmes.
    3. Ensuring that student learning experiences meet the needs of individuals and groups, promoting progression, continuity and quality of learning.
    4. Use a variety of suitable teaching and learning styles and to communicate clear learning objectives and expectations.
    5. Use relevant classroom management strategies to ensure that a purposeful environment for teaching and learning can take place. 6. Organise and maintain a stimulating work environment appropriate for the range of activities taking place
