Description
The purpose of this role is to support Head of Commercial Finance, who in turn supports the EMEA Commercial Director and their team, to maximise revenue and profitably through data driven decision making.
The role requires outstanding communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and be confident in both supporting and challenging (where appropriate) the internal customers.
The role can be split into 2 key areas:1 – BI implementation focussed on theCommercial Finance Function:
approx 50% of role today, but over time will increase in proportion.
Avis Budget Group is implementing a data-driven approach to business insight, reporting and decision making.
You will support Head of Commercial Finance in driving this initiative to deliver robust and efficient reporting and analytics through the creation of new centralised reporting and ad hoc analyses in Tableau.
Drive process improvement across the Commercial Finance team by critically examining existing processes to identify efficiencies and eliminate errorsImprove dashboards and reporting within the Commercial Finance area Become a champion in driving Tableau usage across the Commercial area, interacting with a wide range of stakeholders to provide solutions to improve the usability and understanding of the analysis to drive better decision making and understand business needs.
Working with teams across the business define the best practice and standard approach to how Tableau looks and works, along with driving best practice in terms of collating and using dataProvide data analysis on adhoc business opportunities- Commercial Finance function delivery: approx 50% of role today.
Provide and drive improved decision-making tools for FTP (Frequent Traveller Points) and Adfund costs to ensure the best returnManage and oversee the spend across EMEA by effective monitoring, monthly reporting and reviewDelivering robust forecasts by liaising with the Commercial team throughout the year along with the Annual PlanProvide insight to the Commercial team on the most effective use of spend and support effective decision makingManage the recharge process to corporate countries and licensee partners, working closely with the BSC, our shared service centre in BudapestSkills/Background:Previous BI / data experience (Ideally Tableau)
