This is where you come in.

If you are an ambitious graduate engineer interesting in advancing the technology of EMC testing, then you maybe interested in working with Global EMC(UK) Ltd and De Montfort University to produce higher specification EMC chambers and radiofrequency (RF) shielded rooms.

You will have a solid knowledge of RF and EMC fundamentals, simulation and testing methodologies,which you will build on to lead the development of higher specification products.


Role


As Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, you will be responsible for leading in, the research and development of new EMC products and concepts.

You will take responsibility for modelling and simulation of EMC these test facility concepts.

Build on andenhance the company-wide knowledge of EMC chambers and RF shielding and lead on the shielding effectiveness measurements of new designs.

In addition, you will be expected to provide direction and support across all departments.


To be successful, you will have achieved a BEng(hons) degree or equivalent and, ideally, a masters or PhD in electronic engineering or similar, which will have included EMC and/or RF engineering.

You will have experience in electromagnetic simulation anda knowledge of current EMC Standards.

You must be willing to travel within the UK and overseas and to secure the role, you will undergo Security Cleared, this will allow you to work on sensitive projects.

You will be expected to demonstrate excellent oraland written communication skills.
