Location - Staines / Hybrid

Salary - £31,097

Contract: 12-month FTC, Full time (35 hours per week)

About the role
As an
Income Officer, you will be managing income collection work in accordance with A2Dominion's policies, procedures, and targets. This includes assisting residents who find themselves in financial difficulties.


More about the role

  • To manage and monitor residents accounts and to recover outstanding money in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • To provide advice and assistance to residents on all relevant benefit and debt issues
  • To represent A2Dominion in court at possession hearings and at evictions where relevant.
  • To ensure IT systems are regularly updated and effective manual record systems are maintained.
  • To liaise with relevant external stakeholders (County Courts and Local Authorities) to enhance performance and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements are met
  • To work as part of the income team to ensure individual and team targets are met and that KPI's are achieved
  • To produce arrears performance reports as required.

More about you

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A
  • C)
  • Experience of delivering a customer orientated service
  • Experience of debt recovery / credit control (advantageous)
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing benefits (desirable, not essential.)
