Business Development Manager - Waste Management - South Midlands - £45,000 + Bonuses and Comms (


OTE:
£70,000 - £75,000)
Concept is searching for a Sales professional who is a real go getter when it comes to new business.

This role is extremely rewarding and would fit someone who likes to take control of the full 360-degree cycle from opening doors, tendering and ultimately delivering.

This opportunity is to work with our client who are a leading entity within the Waste Management sector. Changing the way people think about waste.

The Business Development Manager within our clients department will drive significant growth within the Regional and National clientele, whilst being supported closely by the General manager and other commercial teams within the Specialist services business.


Responsibilities:


  • Gathering, Identifying and managing new business leads.
  • Working to quarterly and annual targets for your desk.
  • Using your knowledge of the Waste Management sector to identify trends, gaps in service and overall selling points.
  • Be able to confidently develop, manage and demonstrate a clear business forecast on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure you are working on your optimal strategy.
  • Ensuring data gathered is recorded correctly within the businesses CRM platform.
  • Where possible ensure that every opportunity to cross sell across company functions is completed.

Personnel:


  • Proven experience of successfully developing, managing and implementing new business within a relevant organisation.
  • General knowledge of the waste sector would be preferred.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships is essential.
  • Capability to deal with conflict and negotiate / manage the appropriate outcome
