This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a unique business within the hospitality sector, that provides accommodation for high-net-worth individuals.

Accounts Assistant - What will I be doing?


This position will appeal to someone who enjoys variety and who has the flexibility to adapt to suit the needs of the business.

With your meticulous attention to detail, you will support the business and Finance Team by raising sales invoices, managing creditcontrol and aged debtor reports, processing and reconciling purchase invoices, assisting in weekly bank reconciliations and reconciling company credit card expenditure as well as Director and petty cash receipts.

You will also provide general data entry support.

The variety within the role comes with your ability to diversify and utilise your excellent administration skills to support the remainder of the business as and when required.


Accounts Assistant - What experience do I need?

  • Experience within an accounts team as an accounts assistant
  • Preferably AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
  • Experience of dealing with Purchase orders and calculating VAT
  • Sage Line 50 accounts experience
  • Good MSO skills, especially Excel
  • Methodical, accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • A quick learner who also adapts to change quickly
  • Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions well
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads

Accounts Assistant - What else do I need to know?

This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant who is self-motivated and happy to take ownership of their own work and who will also be excited by the prospect of seeing this position grow in whichever way is necessary tosupport the business.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday and, although the core business hours are 9am to 5.30pm, there's plenty of flexibility to accommodate someone looking for reduced hours to fit around family commitments, or in search of a full-timeposition.
