Asbestos Surveyor - Croydon, United Kingdom - Adecco

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asbestos Surveyor on behalf of our public sector client based in Croydon.

This is a contract role, initially for 3 to 6 months and is paying up to £350 per day Umbrella.

The role offers hybrid working, with at least 2 days in the office/on site in Croydon.

Assist with planning, management and auditing of asbestos surveying and management activities
To adhere to and assist with the review and development of asbestos policy, asbestos management plan, procedures and asbestos register
To raise awareness of asbestos safety to the housing directorate and service providers
Manage data and information and prepare management reports on compliance, assurance and performance
Attend contract meetings with asbestos surveying and asbestos remedial contractors
Assist with programmes and supporting budgets for all asbestos related activities including surveys, remediation and removal and consultancy
Assist with the provision of regular reports to senior management including compliance, assurance, programme delivery, RIDDOR, near misses, training and social value
Provide support on asbestos related situations providing guidance and support where requiredEssential knowledge:

A Level 3 Award in Asbestos Surveying
Level 4 Certificate in Asbestos Laboratory and Project Management
CSC Management Card (Desirable)
Minimum of 3 years asbestos experience
