- Workscope:
- Reviewing specifications and material requisitions for analytical and metering systems
- Evaluating Analytical equipment, Process Analysers, Analyser shelters, and related systems
- Assessing Vendors' quotations and providing technical recommendations
- Direct collaboration with clients and participation in key meetings
- Advising on project progress, technical issues, and changes
- Contributing practical skills for site activities, discussions, and testing
- Engineering Degree
- Field Instruments and Control System background
- Detail Design & Modifications projects experience
- Proficiency in customer specifications and international standards
- Keeping up with technological advancements
- Ability to deliver precise technical documentation on time
- Experience in contractor environment is a must
- Prior involvement in reviewing and approving Engineering Deliverables
- Capable of managing projects from specification to networking and interface solutions
- Familiarity with communication networks like Profibus, Modbus, EtherNet
- Knowledge of HEXAGON Smart Instrumentation (SPI) is a plus

Wood is currently looking for a Senior/Principal Instrument & Control Engineer - Analyser Specialist - Contract position in Reading. This role is part of the PMC team, overseeing technical aspects of design and procurement activities carried out by EPC contractors.
