    Personal Injury Litigator


    We have a new opportunity for a Personal Injury Fee Earner/ Litigator to join this thriving team based in South London.

    HYBRID WORKING.


    The firm have a growing team of Litigators, taking care of Road Traffic Accidents, Employer Liability and Public Liability cases.


    The Role:

    • You will handle a caseload of Defendant matters
    • Caseload will consist of litigated and prelitigated files
    • Predominantly RTA motor claims, some ELPL
    • Files will range in value and complexity generally up to c100k

    What you'll be doing:

    • Negotiating settlement on the best possible terms for the client
    • Drafting vital documentation to issue court proceedings, staying in sync with court directions and ready the file for a final court hearing
    • Collaborate closely with counsel and deal with any vital costs statements

    What we are looking for:

    • Competent litigator
    • Ideally experience dealing with Defendant claims although Claimant fee earners will also be considered
    • Experience in dealing with litigated RTA claims both small and fast track is crucial
    • Knowledge of the Pre Action Protocol, the Court Procedure Rules (CPR) and Practice Directions as well as awareness of the
    • Fatal Accidents Act, other statutes and changes in the law
    • Experience of using a Case Management System
