    Teaching Assistant Level 2 with (SEN Allowance)

    Permanent

    27 hrs per week

    (Term Time plus 5 INSET days)

    Salary Grade D SCP 6-11 from £23,893-£25,979 Pro Rata

    Required from September 2024

    The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teaching Assistant to work predominantly with a named Year 1 child who has an EHCP.

    We are looking for someone who:

    · has experience of supporting children with complex needs

    · has experience of adaptive teaching for Special Educational Needs

    · has experience of working with children who need toileting assistance

    · is excellent in supporting children with delayed speech and language

    · is passionate about working with young children

    · can provide a mixture of 1:1 and small group support

    · is enthusiastic and can motivate pupils to improve their wellbeing as an individual and as a learner

    · has excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills

    · can support muti-sensory teaching and learning methods

    · is able to or willing to learn sign along

    · is happy working as part of a team
