    Are you a Project Manager who is ready to develop your skills with an exciting new opportunity? There has never been a more exciting time to join Bristol Health Partners Academic Health Science Centre, a dynamic collaboration between the city region's universities, major health and care providers and commissioners, covering the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire area.

    This is a 2 year fixed-term appointment and we may consider secondment applications.

    The post will be based within the Bristol Health Partners core team and work specifically on providing effective Senior Project Management support to the Bristol Health Partners HITs.

    You will use your project management skills to ensure HITs are managed effectively, progressing well against plans and reporting progress to the Bristol Health Partners Chief Operating Officer and others.

    In this role you will work with health and social care researchers, commissioners, policy makers and members of the public across the Bristol City region.

    You will collaborate with a range of organisations, including the NHS, universities, local authorities, and voluntary and community sector organisations.

    The post holder will be able to demonstrate significant Project Management knowledge/experience (PRINCE 2 or MSP qualifications are desirable) along with a proven track record of liaising effectively with a range of stakeholders across various organisations, including at very senior levels.

    Qualifications and Training
    Evidence of continuing professional development
    PRINCE 2 and/or MSP or similar project/programme management qualification
    Significant Project Management knowledge/experience (PRINCE 2 or MSP qualifications are desirable)
    Demonstrable change management and project management experience involving clinical services or in a public sector setting
    Knowledge of the theory and practice of change management and service redesign; has developed, monitored and managed complex projects within complex and challenging organisational settings
    Experience in training and developing staff
    Demonstrated experience of operating within a healthcare or health research environment
    Proven track record of liaising effectively with a range of stakeholders across various organisations at different, sometimes very senior levels
    Experience of working in and directing cross-organisational and cross-functional project teams.

    Ability to maintain focus on the longer-term goals of Transformation while dealing with the short and medium term challenges that may arise.
