    Description

    I'm looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join our clients' business in Stoke, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the team and contributing to their continued success.

    About the job
    Varied and interesting HR & Payroll Administrator position, which will see you processing the monthly payrolls for the business and getting involved with HR duties, such as onboarding, employee lifecycle and providing friendly and professional support for any HR / payroll queries.

    About the ideal candidate
    To be successful in this role you will have good Payroll Administrator experience along with HR Administration, or a desire to learn this side of the role. You will have strong system skills including excel. You will be able to work with speed and accuracy. You will have a strong work ethic, be organised and methodical and be able to multitask. You will be personable and a great team player.

    Key responsibilities

    Payroll, Data, and Record Management:

    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of bi-monthly payroll inputs for 350 employees.
    • Handle colleague queries and resolve payroll issues promptly.
    • Maintain employee master data across HR, payroll, and time systems.
    • Ensure compliance with payroll procedures and statutory regulations.

    HR Duties:

    • Provide day-to-day support to the HR team and employees.
    • Assist in recruitment activities and onboarding processes.
    • Maintain HR records and files, including sickness absence and disciplinary records.
    • Coordinate management training and support HR-related projects.

    Requirements

    • Payroll Administrator experience of running a payroll from start to finish
    • HR Administration desirable
    • Team player, supporting other members of the payroll and HR team
    • Good system skills
    • Good Excel skills
    • Friendly and a good communicator

    Salary Range & Benefits
    The salary for this role is £28,000-£30,000. The company also offers excellent benefits including onsite parking and cycle to work scheme.
