    Senior Engineer (Java) (

    Job Number:

    We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for our DevOps and Cloud automation ecosystem.

    As a member of the team, your role will be pivotalin the design , maintenance , and support our DevOps Automation ecosystem platform, which plays a crucial role in the development, deployment, and operations of our AXA XL applications.

    Write high quality, well-designed, testable code
    Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
    Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
    Document and maintain software functionality
    Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc.
    Perform deliverable reviews and manage measurement of deliverable quality
    Proven development skills in one or more programming languages with specific skills within the Java domain.
    Knowledge of current Java frameworks, SDKs, APIs and libraries.
    Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
    Building and scaling infrastructure services usingMicrosoft Azure
    Experience of using core cloud application infrastructure services including identity platforms, networking, storage, databases, containers, and serverless
    Knowledge of SOLID software design principles and clean code principles.
    Application changes complete on-time, to a target level of quality
    Timely and accurate completion of Software Development Lifecycle deliverables in a manner that is auditable, testable, and maintainable
    Implementation consistent with solution design and business specifications
    Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information systems, business management, or a related field preferred
