    AAT Accounts Senior - Chard
    Up to 35K Dependent on experience
    Hybrid after probationary period

    We are a well-established and highly reputable firm of Accountants in Chard, providing a comprehensive range of services to a broad client base. Due to our continued success and growth, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced AAT Accounts Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant practice experience and possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of current accounting regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Draft yearly accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards

    Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to relevant deadlines and regulations

    Act as a liaison with clients, providing professional advice and assistance on a broad range of accounting matters to meet their specific needs

    Answer client queries and provide exceptional customer service to maintain and build upon existing client relationships

    Support the Director with ad-hoc projects, including business development activities and other tasks as required

    Requirements:

    AAT qualification and relevant work experience in a similar role within a practice environment

    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including preparing accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients at all levels

    A proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet tight deadlines

    Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

    High level of accuracy and attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-quality work
