Description
I'm hiring for a Buyer in a market leading food manufacturing company.
Responsible for implementing and delivering procurement strategies across key spend areas. Negotiate and managing purchasing, risk mitigation, supplier performance, market trends, competitor strategies, and support the R&D process.

What the role involves:

  • Category lead for Ingredients
  • Implementing the Procurement strategy to aid function development
  • Managing stakeholder relations in a commercial environment

The person we're looking for:

  • Experience within Ingredients
  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • CIPS or equivalent Procurement certifications desirable or studying towards

Salary:

- £45,000 per annum

Working setup:

  • Based in the Bedford area
  • 3 days office / 2 day working from home
