    Job Purpose:

    We are recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join our new Swindon team working with Children Looked After (CLA).

    Review of this Job Description

    This job description is intended as an outline of the general areas of activity and will be amended in the light of the changing needs of the organisation. To be reviewed in conjunction with the post holder.

    Other Duties

    There may be a requirement to undertake other duties as may reasonably be required to support the CLA Swindon Service.

    Some of the essential criteria for the role:

    • Doctorate (or equivalent) in Psychology.
    • UK HCPC Registration.
    • Experience working at NHS Band 7 or equivalent level.
    • The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise workload and demonstrate effective management of clinical caseload.
    • Strong literacy and report writing skills, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Effective computer literacy skills, including use of Microsoft Office.
    • Effectively communicates, at both written and oral level, complex and sensitive information, taking into account the recipients.
    • Effective time and organisational skills; able to plan, manage and prioritise own workload.
    • Able to comply with organisational policy, information governance and record keeping.
