Description
We are looking for a caring, motivated individual to work as part of a team providing a Phlebotomy Service in a busy outpatient services department

The applicants must be committed to providing a patient centred service. Essential skills include a good level of accuracy, literacy and communication. We also expect the applicant to be compassionate and caring.

The applicant must be a good team player and have a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate labelling of samples for testing.

The post holder will work in outpatients, collecting blood samples from patients and within the outpatient suite.

The applicants must have an interest in healthcare. Previous experience in Phlebotomy not required as full training is provided. Applicants must also have GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent and intermediate IT skills. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
