We have been telling stories ever since World War II when it was home to the RAF and USAAF, and the iconic B-17 Flying Fortress.

Today our airfield hosts global majors in the film production industry, continuing to tell great stories and provide world classentertainment, for both the large and the small screen.


Surrounded by farmland on the fringe of the village of Bovingdon, with excellent access to London, Heathrow airport and major road and rail networks, the airfield has a distinct country and historic feel to it, making it a truly unique film production facility.


Privately owned and independent, we are on an expansion drive, committed to being the most attractive destination in the UK for film production.

To support this expansion, the team are looking to appoint a
Film Studio Sales Manager.


What is the role?
The
Film Studio Sales Manager role is focussed on securing a sustainable pipeline of future contracts and converting that pipeline into commercial relationships with the clients we are pre-eminently resourced to deliver an amazing film productionexperience for


The key responsibilities include:

  • Promote and represent the company with the leading film and streaming production companies, attracting high value contracts to the airfield.
  • Build and maintain highly positive and productive relationships with key influencers in the film industry.
  • Design and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our company and attract target clients and enhance the reputation of the company.
  • Draft, gain agreement for and negotiate, client contracts.
  • Optimise the commercial utilisation of all assets in accordance with an agreed plan, aligned with and complementary to, the operational plans.
  • Propose an annual budget for commercial and marketing activities and manage that budget, once approved, within its approved limits.
  • Provide the MD with regular and informative reports and activity updates.
  • Support CSR activities to promote the positive image and gain support from the local community.

  • You have 8+ years of relevant commercial, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
  • You have proven experience in creating and replenishing a profitable customer sales funnel.
  • You enjoy, and can demonstrate competence in digital marketing
  • You have proven contract drafting and negotiation experience.
  • You are highly customer focussed, with the ability to create an excellent customer experience.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You are the person who sees solutions, not problems.
