We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Partnerships Officer to join an exciting charity making a positive difference.

Hours:
Full-time, 35 hours per week, will also consider part-time hours


Salary:
Up to £27,000 (full-time) dependent on experience

About the Role


As Partnerships Officer, you will be making a positive difference by working with current and new corporate partners to raise funds to support the Trust whilst increasing awareness of the positive impact of the services provided.

This will enable the teamof highly skilled and committed staff to deliver upon the organisation's vision of improving lives and enhancing communities.

We are looking for someone who can excel at relationship building and is very comfortable networking and communicating.

Key responsibilities of the Partnerships Officer include:

  • Grow income from corporate partnerships, with a particular focus on unrestricted funds.
  • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to companies.
  • Account manage existing and future corporate partners and build meaningful relationships with them, ensuring that contractual obligations are met.
  • Work with colleagues within the Business Support Services department, to create and deliver upon a new income strategy for the Trust.
  • Work with the Events & Marketing Officer to deliver fundraising events that engage with the corporate community and have sponsors that offer financial and inkind support.
  • Work closely with the commercial/sales team at Watford Football Club on joint opportunities to generate revenue from commercial partnerships for the benefit of the Trust/Club.
  • Maximise networking opportunities, representing the Trust inkeeping with our values and objectives.
  • Support the wider Trust team with guidance and advice when engaging partners.

About You


We are looking for a Partnerships Officer who can excel at relationship building and is very comfortable networking and communicating.

You will be confident supporting the wider Trust team with guidance and advice when engaging partners on a project level.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) and strong influencing and negotiation skills.

To succeed in the role of Partnerships Officer, your key skills will include:

  • Relevant business development or partnerships qualification, and/or experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in income generation, ideally from corporate partners.
  • Experience working with corporate clients.
  • Understanding of the Trust's commitment to EDI & Safeguarding.
  • Experience in building and sustaining corporate partnerships and relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • A cando attitude and be selfmotivated.
  • Excellent IT skills.
