Bridge Recruitment Ltd are currently looking for an Accounts Administrator for their client based in the heart of York With an excellent benefits package, competitive salary and easily accessible location, this could be the role for you

What's in it for you?

Your new role as an Accounts Administrator

  • Recording customer and company receipts, investigating queries and processing refunds if required in a timely and accurate manner
  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding Sales Ledger queries and account administration
  • Processing high volumes of invoices and transactions accurately and ensuring they are accurately allocated on the system
  • Ensuring supplier statement reconciliations are carried out accurately and on a timely basis
  • Managing your own suppliers accounts, acting as the main point of contact for account and invoicing queries, responding to and solving queries effectively
  • General administrative tasks and providing support to the wider team as required
About you

  • Proven experience of working in a high volume purchase ledger environment
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Apps (especially Excel)
  • Strong customer service skills and a good telephone manner
  • Able to effectively work to deadlies and balance tasks with competing priorities
Due to the nature of the role, previous experience working within a high volume Purchase Ledger environment is essential.
