    What you'll do

    In the Logistics Tech Team, we create the technology systems that deliver 3,000 trailers full of stock every day and keep our shelves full for customers across Sainsbury's group.


    As Product Managers, we spin so many plates. Listening to and acting on what our colleagues and customers want. Bringing business stakeholders and engineering teams together to solve challenges and create new business capabilities. And keeping abreast of technology to provide vision and direction. But we wouldn't have it any other way.

    You'll join our team working to build our Logistics Services Platform, a modern, microservice-based integration platform that's critical for running our business every day.

    The Service Platform interconnects our Logistics systems with the rest of our rich estate of technology solutions across the business including Supply Chain, Retail, Commercial and Finance, in addition to enabling interoperability between a diverse range of in-house built apps and third-party solutions within the Logistics division itself.

    You'll be empowering our colleagues by helping to deliver modern, capable and reliable systems that are a delight to use, as well as enabling transformation within the Supply Chain and Logistics divisions at a pace like never before.

    Your responsibilities will include guiding teams with clear communication and focused objectives and staying abreast of modern Software Delivery Lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.

    An understanding of data streaming technologies and cloud-native event-driven architectures will be valuable.

    Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as the ability to analyse and solve problems logically, will help you thrive in this role.

    Starting off with colleague discount, you'll be able to get 10% off at Sainsbury's, Argos, TU and Habitat after 4 weeks.

    This increases to 15% off at Sainsbury's every Friday and Saturday and 15% off at Argos every pay day. We've also got you covered for your future with our pensions scheme and life cover.

    You'll also be able to share in our success as you may be eligible for a performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary, depending on how we perform.
