About the CDS Data Team

We create and implement data services that focus on value and make a difference in people's lives. We work on projects that fit with the CDS core values of making a positive difference, and we are proud of the solutions that we deliver.

About the role

We are recruiting for 3 positions within our expanding Appian capability

• Senior Appian Consultant
• Appian Consultant
• Associate Appian Consultant

All 3 roles report into the Data Services Director and have responsibility for ensuring that our Appian solutions are delivered to the highest quality with value to our customer, future proofing, and scalability at the forefront of your thinking.

Associate Consultants are individuals that have begun their Appian journey and will be positively contributing to Appian projects. Alongside their project commitments, they will be undertaking on demand and tutor-led learning to further improve their technical skills. They have sufficient Appian and project knowledge to support the solutions that they work on.

The Associate Consultant knows how to do something.

Appian Consultants are provide a significant contribution to projects as their knowledge of Appian allows them to undertake a range of development work. They will continue to improve their Appian knowledge through on demand and tutor led learning. Their knowledge of Appian and the solutions they work on enable them to support Associate Appian Consultants on development and support duties.

The Consultant know the best way to do something.

Senior Appian Consultants are experienced Appian practitioners that work autonomously to design, develop and build Appian applications. They will support the project delivery team and work closely with the Principal Consultant and other team leads to advise and respond to requirements, changes and defects in the solution. They will undertake Appian training as necessary, typically on new features or products by Appian.

The Senior Consultant knows why it is the best way to do something.

These are technical and customer facing role, at all times focusing on the creation and measurement of value to our customers, whether external or internal.

It would also be beneficial, but not essential to be/have...

• Experience of MS Azure Services
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience providing coaching and mentoring to junior team members

Vetting

Due to the nature of this role and the business, you will need to either currently hold UK Government clearance to a minimum of SC level or be able to undergo and maintain this level of clearance.
