    Description

    We regularly undertake the façade design of prestigious projects across a range of sectors including education, stadia, transport, residential and commercial for a range of clients from scheme concept through to detailed design and construction monitoring.

    We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and driven graduate who has graduated with a degree in civil or structural engineering but would like to develop a career in façade engineering.

    As a graduate engineer you will be responsible for assisting others with design work on projects and tasks, with moderate supervision, to ensure the tasks are delivered as briefed.

    This includes communicating with clients, other consultants and colleagues in the delivery of projects whilst maintaining a positive client relationship.

    Execute and coordinate work as directed by senior staff
    Assist with planning site investigation works
    Assist with the development and use of computer-based systems to improve efficiency
    Produce designs, assessments and calculations in accordance with quality procedures
    University degree in civil or structural engineering
    Good understanding of engineering principles
    Conversant in designing structures in concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry
    Able to use computer design software packages
    Able to understand engineering concepts
    Knowledge of design software and its limitations
    Knowledge of AutoCAD
