Housing Association in West Midlands - Heating Engineer Job

Resourcing Group is currently recruiting for a Housing Association in the West Midlands area for the position of Heating Engineer.

Contract: Ongoing

Work Van Required: Fuel Provided

Hourly Rate: £20 - £27

• To ensure properties are maintained and repaired to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out gas re-runs, power-flushing, system alterations, replacement radiators, and minor installations efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.

Key Accountabilities:

• Undertaking a range of maintenance and remedial works, power-flushing, repairing, or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard, including producing gas safety certificates, in line with the role skills framework.
• To complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies, and legislation.
• To work efficiently and deliver high standards of quality.
• Working unsupervised in occupied or unoccupied properties and complying with the Code of Conduct.
• To be competent in the completion of reports, ordering materials, and completing orders.
• To work in a professional and courteous manner.
• To participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota and attend callouts as required.
• Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required.
• Actively contribute and participate in PDR development reviews and discussions, supervision meetings, and other meetings, as required.
• Complete training that is relevant for the role.
• Flexible approach to working hours and undertake callouts as part of out-of-hours rota.
