- Lead development of engaging and innovative 2D and 3D interior design proposals.
- Lead development of 3D data through clear direction to our experienced digital surfacing team.
- Work closely with the engineering dept and suppliers to deliver production feasible interiors.
- Ensure timely completion of all design milestones, encompassing internal and external releases and gateways.
- Assist designers within the studio with their knowledge and development.
- Attend program and engineering reviews as the key representative of interior design team.
- Assist development of GMG brand/design guidelines.
- Plan design studio interior work and delivery in line with GMG program delivery.
- Communicate progress and critical issues to Head of Design.
- 5 years+ experience within an Design studio environment.
- Proven track record of delivering production vehicle interiors (sportscars preferential).
- BA or MA in Automotive Design or Industrial design.
- Exceptional ability to interpret and translate concepts seamlessly from 2D to 3D.
- Self-driven and hands-on with the desire to help with tasks outside your remit to assist the team.
- Excellent communication and strong presentation skills both verbally and visually.
- A high-quality design approach with thorough attention to detail.
