    Director – Electricity Policy & Regulation - Salary up to £120,000 base and up to 50% bonus - London, United Kingdom (hybrid)

    Chi Square Economics is partnering with a boutique economic consultancy which is looking for an experienced economist in the electricity modelling & regulation space to join its growing economics team in London.

    The team tackles projects within the utilities space such as energy (gas, electricity, renewables), water, transport, and finance and they are now looking for a director to co-lead their energy regulation practice.

    If you're an economist already in London, or keen to relocate there, this could be the perfect role for you

    You will be a key member of the economics team working on predominantly microeconomics projects with a focus on electricity market modelling, energy regulation and policy.

    You will also be part of an inclusive team that are experts in their field and motivated to remain the 'go-to' consultancy in this industry.

    You will be a key voice in the way the company grows, along with having heavy responsibilities on identifying business development opportunities as your career grows with them.

    At least a Master's degree in Economics
    Strong knowledge in energy regulation and policies in the electricity and gas space
    Experience using Plexos software
    Prior experience managing a small team and multiple projects at one time
    A competitive base salary (up to £125k base, based on experience)
    ~ Generous bonus scheme of up to 50%

    ~ Health and life insurance
    ~25 days holiday per year
