    Woodgate Primary School has an exciting new opportunity for a dedicated, specialist teacher of SEND to join our team of happy, hardworking children and staff.

    The successful applicant will:

    • have at least 5 years' recent experience working in a specialist setting or resource base
    • have a strong knowledge base and understanding of a range of complex needs
    • know how to secure true inclusion in a mainstream classroom
    • have extensive experience working with external specialist agencies
    • know how to ensure children with high level needs are not de-skilled/restricted in progress
    • have experience of improving outcomes for individuals with high level and complex needs
    • have experience of enhancing the confidence and competence of staff across school
    • know how to Improve staff expertise across the school
    • know how to facilitate well-resourced, effective learning environments in all classrooms
    • have proven experience of increasing opportunities for parental involvement in their child's learning journey and know how to create a cohesive approach to supporting the child to thrive
