Do you consider yourself to have strong organisational skills? Are you able to oversee administrative tasks and provide support with projects? If so we are looking for an individual who would be interested in joining a London based university as an EDI team administrator.

You would be providing high quality administrative support to both the Senior EDI Officer and the wider team, to ensure the support, coordination and facilitation of projects and events within the EDI team.

Hours: 35 per week (Full Time)


Location:
Docklands/Hybrid


Main Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the administrative management of the office, ensuring support is provided to the team to facilitate the various projects within the office.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support OIE projects.
  • Organise OIE team meetings and EDI committee meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions.
  • Support with processing financial transactions through payment and invoicing systems.
  • Manage office budgets, keeping expense records to ensure spend is in line with budgets.
  • Contribute in the delivery of events and projects,ensuring the communication and engagement plan is enacted and correct channels have been utilised.

Person Specification:

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong administrative skills to support project planning and monitoring as well as planning and managing own workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to follow processes and ensure standards are maintained.
  • Strong digital skills including use of MS packages.
