The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an EMEA Transportation Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Your key responsibilities in this role will be as follows:
- Lead and manage EMEA Transportation team (10 direct reports), managing end to end transportation operations executions excellence.
- Subject matter expert for regional transportation advisory role, in particular knowledge of transportation movement for Healthcare and Dangerous Goods
- Understanding COGS, managing EMEA transportation costs to ensure Operating plan is met against target.
- Creating, maintaining, and enhancing transportation analytics such as the management of collection and analyzing transportation data to identify areas of opportunity or problems within the supply chain environment.
- Managing Supplier relationship management through key metrics, identify improvement opportunities, drive performance targets to fulfil customers' needs.
- Close collaboration with sourcing and global team to drive cost improvements.
- Develop and standardize operational reports and dashboards such as transportation database, routing guide to monitor data integrity for compliance and data governance.
- Provide recommendation and drive automation of reporting tools to enhance E2E visibility.
- Drive suppliers' compliance in invoicing timeliness, accuracy, and manage vendor audit performance.
- Super user to build reporting via various Transportation Management System and collaborate with Global to enhancing E2E reporting tool.
- Main transportation operational escalation focal for EMEA
- Collaboration with various function stakeholders, in Business Groups, Planning, Intercompany Order management team, Warehouse and Distribution for customer fulfilment
- Create and drive transportation continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across the countries.
- Manage and responsible on driving suppliers' transportation damages, collaborate with Quality team, setting new metrics and drive key DPPM KPIs
- Lead weekly operational meeting and monthly business review with key suppliers.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, we require (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Significant experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical transportation
- Experience in managing cross functional groups and leading EMEA countries.
- Excel in effectively communicating across multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously, prioritizing requirements to meet deadlines and critical needs
- Experience leading others and contributing on crossfunctional global teams
