- Provide a high level of skill in interpreting the customer's and regulatory requirements to ensure designs are perfectly aligned.
- Apply technical due diligence by being process risk aware and applying FMEA, design studies and POP to mitigate risk.
- Strive to add value to our customers, building partnerships based on trust, respect and flexibility.
- Provide information relating to the mechanical design/ process throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that the mechanical design team has a clear understanding of the design concepts and schedule requirements.
- Involved in machine commissioning activities in collaboration with the Head of Commissioning to ensure successful FAT and SAT.
- Ensure all relevant design documents are in place in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
- Design of industrial automation equipment/machinery in a manufacturing environment would be a huge advantage
- Experience in generation and verification of design documents. (Assembly drawings, detail drawings, parts lists, P&I diagrams, pneumatics diagrams).
- Interpretation of customer requirements and presentation of design solutions at internal design reviews.

- British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems.
- Conducting risk assessments and generating technical documents in accordance with the Machinery Directive relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems.
