Description

McGinley is currently seeking a Construction Supervisor with specialized London Underground experience to oversee a range of projects on a contract basis.

They should possess a solid understanding of Track Standards and related factors such as signals, power, and ultrasonics. The majority of the work will take place at night, with daytime shifts possibly needed based on project demands. Previous experience working on the London Underground is essential.

Duties:

Ensure all necessary safety documentation is secured before work commencesn
Adhere to safety protocols throughout project completionn
Take an active role in site safety management by addressing unsafe practices, conducting Safety Tours, and Planned General Inspectionsn
Provide feedback on Safe Systems of Work, Task Briefing Sheets, and Risk Assessmentsn
Organize the procurement, transportation, and storage of tools, machinery, and equipment for the work siten
Arrange the supply, delivery, and storage of materials for the work siten
Supervise delivery/installation to ensure compliance with London Underground's specifications, designs, and quality standardsn
Collaborate with the Construction Team on project scopes/designs, determining the most efficient delivery methods and schedulesn
Engage with stakeholders, conduct pre-site evaluations, and carry out post-work inspectionsn
Provide detailed briefings to PWT/SPC on work scopes, safety protocols, and technical bulletinsn
Report site progress and address any significant impediments or issues to the Project teamn
Participate in pre-site surveys and site handback walks as requiredn
Attend safety briefings, and provide daily updates to the site PWT/SPC and entire work teams as necessary
