We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Learning and Development team as Digital Learning Assistant based in Crewe (with some travel). This is currently a 12 month FTC but is likely to become permanent position.

Purpose of role:

Under the guidance of the Digital Learning Consultant, support the administration, development and operation of the company¿s Learner Management Systems (LMS)
With the support of SME¿s, develop and create multimodal learning materials for use in both Digital and blended learning situations.
Support the wider L&D Team and trainees with the use of digital technologies for learning (e.g. tablets, learning technology, VR)

Key accountabilities:

Capture and edit video footage across the network, to be used within training across the company, incorporating motion graphics (where appropriate) to enhance engagement and understanding.
Ensure that training media is accessible, accurate and of a high quality to support the L&D training programmes.
Update training materials and user accounts within the Learning Management Sysytem (LMS) to ensure accurate records are maintained.
Develop multimodal learning materials to support training courses at the Regional Development Centres to promote a blended approach to learning and development.
Work with SMEs across the business to ensure accuracy of training resources.
Provide support to Trainers and Trainees at the Regional Development Centres on the use of mobile technology for learning to promote user confidence and accessibility.

Person specification:

Efficient video editing workflows.
Working knowledge of Learning Management systems (totara / moodle etc.)
Extensive experience of the Adobe Creative Suite / Articulate including After Effects
