- Attend a selection of cost, estimating and scope review meetings across all contracts to ensure quality and effectiveness is maintained.
- Providing ad-hoc assistance/standing in for other Estimators, as required/necessary.
- Regularly auditing estimates, quotations, BoE, reports and deliverables to ensure consistency of application use.
- Selection and appointment/removal of Estimators and their development, as required.
- Defining, running and managing all cross contract/client estimating processes.
- Interfacing with the Cost and Planning Leads to ensure alignment of process, deliverables and systems where appropriate.
- You will own a continuous business improvement plan in conjunction with the respective project control functions.
- Previous experience in a senior cost estimating role with demonstrable team leading abilities.
- Experience within EPC / Projects environment desirable.
- Demonstrable expert knowledge and application of estimating industry standards.
- Organising, chairing meetings and presentation skills critical.
- Business planning/commercial awareness.
- Expert Excel skills and experience with estimation packages.
- HNC or higher qualifications preferred.
- Facilitation experience desirable.
- Procedure and work instruction writing experience desirable.
