Interim HRBP | up to £50K | 13 months FTC | Central London


We are actively recruiting for an interim HRBP to join our client in January 2023 for 13 months to cover maternity.

This is a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 at home)


Under the guidance of the Head of HR, you will support the HR team's strategic objectives and take on a range of projects and responsibilities; implementing the People Agenda in the business area you support.


As HRBP you will act as a trusted advisor to support your client group through a variety of different methods.

These include building and sustaining a positive culture, developing, and implementing talent management and generalist initiatives and projects.

Working closely with the Head of HR and HR Director, this role is key in helping to strengthen capability and confidence.

This is done via coaching and advising Line Managers in all aspects of HR and people practices.


It is a true generalist role supporting the business areas in day-to-day activity as well as leading on wider projects.


The role

  • Establish yourself as a strong HR Business Partner by building strong relationships.
  • Act as the point of contact for the area allocated, building alliances, and providing strategic consultation.
  • Ensure ongoing interaction with colleagues to develop an awareness of the needs of the business.
  • Build relationships with other departments in the organisation at all levels. Acting as an ambassador for HR activity driving standards and highlighting the benefits of HR to all staff and managers.
  • Partner with departments on all HR activities and strategically enhance processes as opportunities are identified.

About you

  • Experience working in a business partnering team providing guidance and advice to line managers.
  • Proven track record in the implementation of agreed people projects and activities
  • Proven experience of leading organisational change or similar projects e.g., restructures/redundancies
  • Experience in working with different tools and approaches to Talent Management.
  • Experience using data to inform decision making.
  • Experience working with Employee Surveys and wider Engagement approaches.
  • Project management and planning experience
  • The ability to meet multiple priorities in terms of quality and time.
