    Position:
    Plant Fitter


    Location:
    Oldham

    Salary:
    £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    About Us:


    My client are a leading company in Oldham specializing in the maintenance, repair and hire of plant machinery and are looking for a skilled Plant Fitter to join our team.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of plant machinery both in the field and within our workshop.

    Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
    Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize machinery lifespan.
    Utilize workshop facilities for more complex repairs, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
    Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, both on-site and in the workshop.

    Requirements:
    Previous experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role, with a strong mechanical aptitude.
    Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a range of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, and dumpers.
    Ability to work independently in the field and within a workshop environment, managing tasks effectively.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
    Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are desirable.
