Our client is currently seeking a full-time remote
Senior Solutions Architect. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you should be able to layout plans and handle client-facing enquiries.

The Senior Solutions Architect will work with customers,engineering teams, product teams, and sales teams to qualify potential engagements, craft robust architectural proposals, and deliver Statements of Work (SOWs) that you and the engineering teams can successfully execute.

Responsibilities

Have a comprehensive understanding of how everything on the project relates, interacts, and comes together.
Knowledgeable about our Partners and the technologies they use.
Comfortable using more than one public cloud provider (GCP and AWS)
Be able to conduct experiments and build functioning prototypes that prove out ideas and build confidence in the solutions you build and advocate.
Work with the PMO to create and communicate details around project timelines and identify additional potential SOWs.
Help coach and pair with Cloud Engineers when they get stuck or need assistance.
Ability to orchestrate largescale multienv Terraform deployments, while following best practices.
Ability to create and add features to Helm charts, as well as deploy and upgrade
Knowledge to discuss various approaches to CI/CD, determine what works best and ability to implement ci/cd pipelines and triggers.
Ability to communicate across business units and the ability to interface with and communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Lead earlystage opportunity technical qualification calls, as well as lead clientfacing technical discussions.
Be responsible for presenting solutions, architectures, SOWs, demos, and other technical materials to build trust and confidence in WALTLabs' ability to walk the customers through their cloud journey.

Requirements:

Experience as a technical consultant or another customerfacing technical role
Handson experience with AWS and GCP
Knowledge of most of the services offered by AWS and GCP
Experience with how AWS and GCP services are used and when to use them in implementing a solution for a client. Ability to compare and contrast services in AWS vs GCP to present clients with the best solution.
Experience scoping and estimating time commitments needed for complex engineering tasks.
Building CI/CD pipelines (Argo, Codefresh, GitLab, Jenkins)
Configuration Management experience (Ansible)
Handson with Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (various Kubernetes)
Production experience using Terraform to manage multiple environments
Experience using Atlassian JIRA to manage project tasks
Experience providing oversight and direction of cloud projects.

Bonus but NOT REQUIRED experience around Data Science, architecting solutions around BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Airflo.
