The Cloud Services Network consultant is responsible for supporting the Cloud Service Practice in the ongoing maintenance of the ServiceWorks network and associated services.

What you'll do:

To become an SME for the ServiceWorks core network, providing senior technical assistance to customers and SOC 3rd line engineers.
Work closely with the other consultant(s) and TDA to deliver planned network enhancements.
Close engagement with customers to ensure any network related dependencies are understood and factored into on boarding projects
The Production and verification of secure and complex solutions both within and outside compliance frameworks, incorporating writing proposals and highlevel designs to a high standard
Build and develop strong peer to peer relationships with our CloudCare consultancy team.
Contribute to the documentation and adoption of agreed standards within our deployments.
Assist CDW Salespeople with technical guidance on network specific queries across a range of customer sizes and types
Act as a trusted adviser to customers through building knowledge of their environments
Attain and maintain the highestlevel relevant accreditation(s) in key areas

What you need to succeed:

Must-have:

At least 3 years' experience in a similar complex support role
Proven Customer service Skills
Proven experience delivering projects and complex changes.
Industry recognised qualifications in relevant areas.
Extensive and proven experience in one or some of the below technologies.
Fortinet (FAZ, FMG, FGT)
HPE Networking knowledge of HPE Comware (NOS)
Citrix NetScaler
Cisco technologies including switching and routing at CCNP level.
An understanding of MPLS and layer 1 / 2 connectivity
Experience of working in multitenant / cloud environment
Working knowledge of public cloud Networking concepts.
Working knowledge of layer 2 overlay technologies
In depth knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and Wireshark analysis
Knowledge of ITIL and the ability to work in a changecontrolled environment

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of VMware
Security Clearance (SC) advantageous
Scripting and automation languages such as Python and Terraform
Experience in cyber incident response Desirable
