    Field Services Engineer Role

    • Diagnose and repair technical issues on various IT equipment at different customer locations in the Greater Manchester South area
    • Offer IT Hardware Support and handle Installs, Moves, and Changes across client sites in the Greater Manchester South area

    Key Responsibilities

    • Travel to a variety of customer sites for IT Support Services as per contractual requirements
    • Support a range of IT equipment including PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and point of sales systems
    • Install and troubleshoot a wide range of products in a software or hardware environment
    • Obtain and maintain necessary vendor certifications required by CDW for the role
    • Follow documented procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
    • Adhere to safety and electrostatic discharge precautions
    • Complete all relevant documentation for each site visit in a timely manner
    • Participate in an on-call rotation
    • Provide support to other teams within the department
    • Be flexible to work overtime when necessary

    These duties are not exhaustive, and you may be required to perform additional tasks based on your evolving role within the organization and its business objectives.

    Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

    • Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and fixing hardware devices
    • Ability to install and configure software based on customer requirements
    • Possess relevant vendor certifications such as Dell, Lenovo, IBM, and HP
    • Understanding of hardware maintenance and break-fix
    • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
    • Required UK security clearances such as SC and NPPV3
