Our client, a large international consumer brand, is seeking to hire a Commercial Finance Analyst to increase the decision support to the UK business, as it rebounds strongly from the Pandemic.

They are looking for someone who is a proven team player, wea 'can do', positive approach, and someone who works well with a broad range of stakeholders and can challenge others in a constructive manner.

Strong Excel skills are a must and you will need to be adept at analysing and manipulating large volumes of data with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner and with confidence to explain your analysis.

Ideally you will be part qualified or finalist CIMA or ACCA.

Role Overview
Leading consumer organisation based in London with global brands.

The Commercial finance department provides business partnering to various stakeholders by bringing financial objectivity, challenge and insight to proactively support the business.

A highly commercial and operational role, you will support the finance managerin providing financial analysis and planning as well as assisting the Business Development manager on appraising new business opportunities and capital expenditure.

Your key stakeholders will include the UK operations team, commercial marketing team, the groupfinance team as well as working closely with the wider UK finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of management accounts, providing insights into variances to plan, trends and future risks and opportunities.
Assisting in the production of Annual budgets and monthly / quarterly forecasting, liaising with key stakeholders to forecast Sales/ Gross Profit/ labour costs.
Working with the operations team to maximise the benefits of the labour forecasting tool, ensuring robust information contained in the model.
Support the Business Development Team in evaluating CAPEX and appraising new business opportunities.
Create effective Excel models that help improve efficiency and accuracy within the finance team.
