We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered schools in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) located in Stockton on Tees area.


The PRU caters to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs, many of whom also have severe learning and communication difficulties.

As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, your role goes beyond creating an engaging and creative learning environment. You will be working with children who may struggle to engage in formal education due to their individual challenges

You will be working full time Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30am

  • 4:00pm, no working weekends or shcool holidays This role will involve working with vulnerable children and adults with special educational needs including AD,ADHD,SEMH and more.

Requirements:


  • Preferably have at least 6 months of experience working in a school environment.
  • Experience working with children with complex needs is preferred.
  • Must be able to commute to Wakefield.

What we can offer you:


Salary:
£80.00-£100.00 per day

  • Monday to Friday
